Slowing down

Recently I have posted my character Bio's and they have been littered with things that happen later on in the story or in other books that I plan on putting out. I'm currently slowing down and covering my basis in my first story.

It will take a little time but I'll shave a lot of stuff down so that it makes more sense

I'm currently working on the Factions of the people and recently just finished the Timeline for the characters and the events that will happen in the story.

I will post all of that information up soon, but I'm still need to proof read everything before I post it.

Personality: 

Lain is a very prideful god thinking very little for what other people think of her, but she does try to win people over with good deed. She doesn’t really like humans but she does do things that help there benefit. She literally brought people back from the brinks of death to calm there

About Lain:

Lain was one of the original gods who created the universe, because she was one of original gods that lead to creating the world she knows full well how people react and how they see things. She is very smart and wise, but she is also very short tempered when it comes to people who can’t accept how the natural order of things work or do things in the gods name. Such people who use their names for their own benefit or people who try to hurt people because they feel the gods told them to.

Appearance:

Before she came into the world she had the appearance of a fox with a brownish red coat and black paws and a white mouth, she has 12 tails each with a small blue flame on the tip of her tails. As she created the world and made worlds and planets and stars her appearance and body began to become more human, while her face and features still resembled her fox form appears as a mixture of both a fox and a human. She wore imperial godly robes and clothes to cover her body.

In her human form she is a small woman around 5 feet’ 8 inches tall, and has short hair; her eyes are light green with a yellow hue on the inside of her pupils.

When she fell from power she converted back in her animal form where she would walk the lands as a fox that plagued the people. She still had enough power to enter her human form but only for a limited time.

Powers and Abilities: 

Lain is a higher being than most gods that you come across in the story, but her powers have been severely cut down due to she has little connection to the souls that come from her Dimension and planet.

But even with this limit 

This is one of the main concepts for on of the main Characters, She is suppose to have some great connection to the main character "Alexander" and her story effects everything around Alexander and his friends.

Right now I'm still in the concept faze so this appearance might not be final.

Small updates

I been taking my time with working on  my story, trying to figure how to make it less confusing when people read it. I think I finally made some progress on making it more understandable, but I can't say for sure until I actually get some other people to read my story and see what they think.

So for now I'm going to post up some pictures and see if they can at the very least give you an idea of how some of the characters will look.

Magic system (will update soon)

MAGIC

There have been some questions as to how magic came to work in this world, and how it came to be. Most of the magic isn't necessarily magic but just blessings that are granted by some of the gods. In the earlier days people would have fought and trained their bodies to gain tribute to have access to such powers, but after swift millennia the new generation of the gods came to be. The newer gods selected their followers by how much potential they would possess the battlefield or by how much faith they would present. Plantation of how it currently WORKS:

Blessings that are passed on to the followers or pact makers, by its very loyalty they show the certain god they praise. The forces the newer gods channel and control are affected by the wills of their followers – the higher the influence of a god can magnifying the very powers that dwell in the bodies in their followers and pact makers granting them superhuman abilities. This has an actual physical effect on the some who stronger faiths than others, slowly modifying their forms. The greater the amount of energy that eventually passes through their followers or pact makers, the greater the transformation.

-the connections that are held between a god and the follower is weaker than what the connections between the god and pact maker. Followers like most others are entitled to the same powers a pact maker has, but the connection can't grow stronger than a tenth of the god they worship. This means that the will of a pact maker can grow to the same percentage of the god they are packed with-

Oddly enough a fallen god can also have followers and persuade them and twist their minds and push forth their anger turning them into horrible, mindless, killing machines. This cans me dangerous because the people who partake in these forms of blessings have no emotions and over time their persona's turn into blank, featureless face. Others might grow a third eye that allows them to see the magic around them, or extra limbs, or a set of spines along their back. Remember the gods? They changed shape because of their immense power.

Now here’s how it really works:

Magic

The magic in this world is a little different that how most people are used to seeing; most of the magic in this world comes from the gods themselves. These so called gods bless the devoted people in this world into their divine worshipers on the planet giving them certain abilities that resemble their own to some degree.

The chosen worshipers

 

Chosen worshipers are people who have supernatural powers that are linked to one of the gods and have powers similar to what there god has. The chosen worshipers are connected all of the worlds there god controls and are the soldiers that fight for their gods beliefs.  The powers they receive from their gods themselves and they carry their message and word with them when they fight.

The main purpose for worshipers to exist is to fight for the god’s namesake and is there to protect the innocent humans that inhabit the earth. They fight against the monsters that inhabit the god worlds and the monsters that are on earth as well.

Each god has their own set of worshipers and they spread their name to the people on earth. They manage temples and churches that take up the earthly names they were given and act as the back bone for directing the souls of the dead to their designated heaven.

This idea stands firm for the Noire family as well; the family has had ties to the gods of light for as long as they carried the name Noire. Their grandparents had ties to these gods and the god’s powers spread to the children giving them powers.

Blood Pacts

 

A blood pact is when a human's spirit becomes connected to a god that was weakened under certain circumstances. The action of making a pact with a god is rare and this can only happen with weakened gods who are summoned to earth. When the pact is activated the human gains the powers of the god that they hold the pact with, people who do this become godlike and are primary targets of other gods.

In order for a blood pact to be initiated a weakened or fallen god is summoned by human sacrifice. Through this sacrifice the god inhabits the body of the sacrifice using it as a host body, once in the host body they cut their hand and become blood brothers with the person who summoned them.

When these god has made its pact with the person who summoned them, they gain are pushed up to a godlike status and have access to all of the gods abilities, world, worshipers, and the power that comes from there dimension. This ritual makes it so that the god can stay on the earth with the summoner using the host body as a bridge to keep them there, however if the summoner dies and has there soul taken they will convert back into nothing and the host body will fall to the ground as a soulless husk.

These rules are different for Lain Ashira and Alexander; because he was stabbed with the knife that was used to sacrifice Ashira the ritual had a different outcome. Ashira's spirit merged with Lain making them one and the same being, and because Alexander’s blood was still on the knife when she was killed; he became the linked with the two women as well. Difference being that because the ritual was done differently than the others, Lain and Ashira's connection to Alexander was slow. Over time the connection did grow stronger showing their progress in the dreams that he had every night about the woman of light that would appear in his dreams. When the connection was finally complete he became a target for the monsters of Lain's old world to prove that he was the rightful leader of the world, and was an enemy of all of the other Gods of light who wanted Lain to remain powerless.

Holy objects

 

Holy objects are weapons and items that are given to a certain few of worshipers that have proven that they are worthy to that god. These weapons vary on appearance and enhance the natural abilities of the people who wield them. These weapons feed off of the natural energy in the human body so normal people shouldn’t be using the weapon, if a weakened person does use this weapon it could lead to their death or could put them into a coma.

These weapons are sometimes pass them through the family tree, and they raise their children to use these weapons so they can keep their connections to their god strong.

Personality: 

Ashira has a very innocent outlook on life, she was always careless and just saw the good in things. She is very kind but at times she has become very outspoken telling people who things are. (She told her brother Nick to ease up on Alexander, because he at least tried to save her)

About Ashira:

Coming back into the world as a spirit Ashira gets a chance to live her life again; her body is now a pool of water. Because her body is mostly water and her connection is still fresh she has to stay within a certain radius of Alexander or else her body will turn into a pool of water. Ashira's being serves as an anchor point for the god Lain and keeps her connected to Alexander keeping Lain and herself in this world, over time she her consciences begins to fade.  This deeply bothers her but over time she starts to accept it, the solution to this is making her a divine servant making her spirit stronger and she can now freely go anywhere she wants.

Appearance:

Even though Ashira is a spirit who doesn't have a flesh and blood body anymore, she appears to be in her early twenties. She has a round face slider body, plump lips, and light gray eye her appearance befitting the new look world. Ashira has long very long hair extending down to past her shoulders, but she is mostly seen with a ponytail in her head.

In her youth Ashira was very girly wearing a lot of fashionable clothing that matched everything she wore. When she re-enters the world she is wearing a dark purple button up shirt, dark pants, and black shoes with purple marking on them.

Powers and Abilities: 

Early in her life she did have super natural abilities but she did really flaunt them over other people.

Following: her soul is linked with Lain and they are connected with Alexander through a blood pact.



Story:

Ark

Beginning Ark:

            She begins the story dead and it moves, but shortly after the introductions are done she comes back into the story after her body reforms. She then takes her time to figure how she came back into this world and she breaks the tension between Alexander and Nick because he knows a lot about the family history.

From ghost to goddess:

            Ashira begins to have problems keeping her liquid body intact and falls apart, she also passes out for long periods of time and Lain takes over. This is due to Lain is regaining so much of her power over the long years they have been together. To save her from burning away the connection to Lain’s plant is restored, giving Alexander to convert her spirit into an angel making her his Divine Servant.

Pact user vs. the universe:

            Around this point in the story she becomes a Divine servant of the highest caliber and uses her powers goes undercover with Fiara to find out about the new god order “The Light Bringers.”
